Atprex partnered with the University of Auckland to design and deploy Karanga Nexus, a generative soundscape installed at the General Library entrance. The system composes in real time, guided by tides, lunar phases, Earth’s rotation, and Earth–Sun distance, then responds to human movement via privacy‑respecting CCTV signals—echoing the karanga’s call‑and‑response.

We architected the interaction layer, sensor orchestration, and audio pipeline to balance surveillance-aware critique with everyday.
